The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) continues to oversee the issuance of the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), specifically for those residing in Europe.

This card is essential for Pakistani nationals intending to travel abroad or settle in foreign countries, allowing dual nationals to enter Pakistan without a visa.

As of January 2025, the fee structure for the NADRA NICOP remains unchanged:

• Executive Processing Fee: Rs21,820

• Urgent Processing Fee: Rs16,589

• Regular Fee for New NICOP: Rs11,340

Applications can be submitted at any NADRA office in Pakistan, or overseas Pakistanis can apply through their respective consulates or online via NADRA’s platform.

NADRA has categorized countries into two zones: Zone A, which includes European and Western countries like Canada, and Zone B, which comprises Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
