Shehbaz, Gandapur spar over Nov 26 protest in Apex Committee meeting
After the National Action Plan Apex Committee meeting, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur told the media that terrorism will not be tolerated in the country.
According to the sources, during the meeting, the Prime Minister mentioned the incident of November 26 and explained not to shoot at the protesters.
To which Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur objected. On this occasion, there was also a tense exchange of sentences between the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister on the issue of PTI protest.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif concluded the important meeting of the National Action Plan Policy Committee in which the Prime Minister, Civil and Army Chief General Asim Munir and other important officials including heads of intelligence agencies participated.
According to the sources, issues related to the implementation of the National Action Plan of 2021 were reviewed by the Apex Committee.
Later, Ali Amin Gandapur said that it was decided in the meeting that terrorism will be fought together. He further said that he presented his position to the Prime Minister regarding November 26 protest, and demanded to form a commission regarding November 26 protest.
Ali Amin said that there was also talk about Kurram and Afghanistan.
