Punjab govt to provide warm clothing for schoolchildren
In a move to shield schoolchildren from the harsh winter, the Punjab government has announced a distribution of warm clothing throughout the province.
Starting January 13, approximately 21,000 students from government schools will receive winter apparel, including sweaters, coats, shoes, and uniforms.
The distribution will take place in Lahore as well as in the districts of Narowal, Rajanpur, and Layyah.
This initiative, initiated under the guidance of the Chief Minister, will be supported by the Department of Bait-ul-Mal and the Social Welfare Department.
