Islamabad ATC grants bail to over 250 suspects from Nov 26 protests
The Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad has approved bail for more than 250 suspects linked to the protests that occurred on November 26, amid a total of thirteen registered cases.
In a recent ruling, the court rejected bail applications for 150 suspects.
The District and Sessions Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain delivered a reserved decision on a total of 436 bail requests submitted in connection with the protests.
Bail was granted to 18 suspects from the Bani Gala police station, 43 from the Kohsar police station, 9 from the Shahzad Town police station, and 17 from the Nowshera police station.
Additionally, the court approved bail for 70 suspects from the Aabpara police station, 30 from the I-9 police station, 13 from the Margalla police station, 25 from the Sihala police station, and 30 from the Shams Colony police station.
