Renowned Pakistani journalist Zahid Gishkori has claimed that former Army Chief General (Retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa is currently under restrictions preventing him from meeting individuals.

Gishkori stated, “The former Army Chief of Pakistan, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, has been advised against meeting people,” emphasizing that Bajwa does not have the necessary permission to engage with anyone.

Traditionally, former Army Chiefs in Pakistan are subject to a two-year ban on meetings after stepping down from their positions.

However, according to Gishkori, General Bajwa’s basic term of restrictions has already lapsed.
