Five Indian soldiers killed, five injured in vehicle accident in IIOJK

Five Indian soldiers were killed and five others injured when an army vehicle veered off course and plunged into a steep gorge in the Poonch district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), according to Indian media reports on Tuesday.

The incident involved a vehicle from the 11 Madras Light Infantry (11 MLI), which was en route from Nilam Headquarters to Balnoi Ghora Post when the accident occurred.

The vehicle fell approximately 350 feet into the gorge near its intended destination.

Emergency medical assistance was promptly provided to the injured personnel, and efforts are currently underway to evacuate them for further treatment.
