A new book has revealed that Indian actor Rekha is reportedly seen with her manager Farzana on numerous occasions, hinting at a relationship.

The writer of Rekha’s book, Yasser Usman, suggested that Rekha has an enigmatic relationship with Farzana.

He stated that Farzana is the only person allowed into Rekha’s bedroom and oversees every small aspect of her life.

Rekha’s manager, Farzana, plays a crucial role in the actress’s life, often seen as her constant companion while Rekha basks in the spotlight. Farzana, always dressed in a suit, ensures Rekha’s safety once the cameras stop flashing and accompanies her securely.

Speculation about the nature of Rekha and Farzana’s relationship arose when Yasser Usman suggested they might be romantically involved. An excerpt cited Farzana as Rekha’s ideal partner—her consultant, friend, and supporter—indicating that only Farzana is allowed in Rekha’s bedroom, excluding even household staff.

“Farzana’s father was a production controller. When she initially entered the industry, she wanted to be a director. She even assisted some of them. Soon after she realised it wasn’t her cup of tea. Farzana then got in touch with Rekha and became her secretary-cum-manager in the mid-80s. So it has been a long association of 30 years. There was a time when Farzana’s mother was sick, so she would attend to her in the morning and then rush to Rekha; she has literally given her life for Rekha. Today, it is impossible to reach out to Rekha without going through Farzana,” he said.

However, Yasser Usman refuted these claims, urging people to refrain from using terms like “live-in.” He issued a statement condemning the speculations, asserting that the quotes attributed to his book, Rekha: The Untold Story, are entirely fabricated and misrepresentative, aimed at sensationalism. He firmly declared that such statements do not exist in his book.
