Gold prices surge as one tola increases by Rs2,300
The price of gold has seen a notable rise, with one tola of gold increasing by Rs2,300 today. This brings the new price for one tola of gold to Rs282,800.
Additionally, the price for 10 grams of gold has gone up by Rs1,971, now reaching Rs242,455.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $23, bringing the cost to $2,716 per ounce. Earlier in the session, it peaked at its highest level since November 6, hitting $2,725.79. U.S. gold futures fell by 0.2%, closing at $2,750.70, while spot gold remained relatively stable at $2,717.80 per ounce.
In other precious metals, spot silver increased by 0.8% to $32.15 per ounce, platinum rose 0.7% to $946.05, and palladium gained 0.8%, reaching $989.25.
Yesterday, local markets reported that the price of 24-carat gold per tola had increased by Rs3,100, reaching Rs280,500, while the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs2,658, totaling Rs240,484.

Furthermore, the price of silver per tola rose by Rs50 to reach Rs3,450, and the price for 10 grams of silver increased by Rs42.86, now standing at Rs2,957.81.
