Wave of violence leaves several dead in KP

Three bodies were discovered in Bannu, while three were killed in a shooting in Waziristan

A wave of violence has rocked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and South Waziristan, leaving multiple people dead. Three bodies were discovered in Bannu District, while three others were killed in a shooting in South Waziristan. A separate incident in Swabi resulted in two deaths and three injuries.

Bannu District:

Three unidentified bodies were found near the Kunday check post in the Mamandkhel area of Bannu District. Police have transported the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital for identification. Authorities believe the bodies were dumped overnight by unknown assailants.

South Waziristan:

In the Wanna area of South Waziristan, three individuals were killed in a drive-by shooting. According to DPO Asif Bahadur, unknown assailants in a vehicle with tinted windows opened fire on a Mazda car, killing all three occupants. The victims are believed to belong to the Gangi Khel tribe. The motive for the killing remains unclear, and police have launched an investigation.

Swabi:

In the Tarlandi area of Swabi District, a dispute between cousins near a government school escalated into a shooting, resulting in two deaths and three injuries. Police identified the deceased as 50-year-old former police officer Fida Ullah and 55-year-old Muhammad Ali. Three others, identified as Nadullah, Syed Umar, and Qasim, sustained injuries. The injured and the bodies were transported to Kalukhan Hospital.
