Repair work on Karachi water pipeline set for completion this weekend
The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) has announced that repairs on the 84-inch diameter water pipeline on University Road will be finalized by Saturday night.
A spokesperson for KW&SC reported that the pipeline initially burst last Friday, with repair efforts commencing on December 3.
While repairs were underway, another rupture occurred Thursday evening.
The spokesperson noted that although progress is being made with heavy machinery and dedicated personnel at the site, the extensive damage at two locations may prolong the repair process.
