Tragic accident on motorway M3 claims three lives in Nankana Sahib
A devastating accident occurred near the rest area on Motorway M3 in Nankana Sahib, Punjab, resulting in the deaths of three women and injuries to 33 other passengers.
Reports indicate that a speeding coaster lost control, collided with a Mazda, and subsequently fell off the motorway. Among the fatalities was a 6-year-old girl, with the incident leaving numerous others injured.
Emergency rescue teams reported that six of the injured are women and children. The deceased and the injured were promptly transferred to DHQ Hospital for medical attention.
The accident, attributed to overspeeding, involved a coaster with registration number CAF 5653, which was en route from Multan to Lahore-Sialkot.

Rescue 1122 personnel quickly responded to the scene, transporting 18 severely injured individuals, including women, to the hospital, while 15 passengers suffered minor injuries.
The victims have been identified as 35-year-old Nabeela, 35-year-old Shahida Bibi, and 6-year-old Maureen Fatima. The injured passengers include individuals ranging in age from 9 to 70, highlighting the widespread impact of this tragic event.
