Pakistan win Blind T20 World Cup final by 10 wickets

Pakistan have won the inaugural Blind T20 World Cup, defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the final match played in Multan.

Bangladesh, batting first, set a target of 140 runs, losing 7 wickets in their innings. Pakistan achieved the target without losing a single wicket, securing a decisive victory.

Nisar Ali led the Pakistan charge, scoring a brilliant half-century off 22 balls.

This win marks Pakistan’s first Blind T20 World Cup title, and they remained undefeated throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team on their triumph in the T20 World Cup final in Multan on Tuesday.

While commending the team’s victory against Bangladesh in the final, he praised the outstanding batting displays by Captain Nisar Ali and Muhammad Safdar, which led to Pakistan’s glorious win.

“I also congratulate the management of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team on this brilliant achievement,” Naqvi said.

“The players exhibited immense dedication and teamwork in every match of the tournament. Their hard work and passion have been instrumental in earning this title for Pakistan.”

The PCB Chairman expressed hope that the Blind Cricket Team would continue to perform with the “same zeal and achieve even greater milestones in the future.”
