Balochistan government initiates programme to send 30,000 skilled youth abroad for employment
The Balochistan government has launched an initiative to send 30,000 talented and skilled youth abroad in order to provide them with employment opportunities.
Agreements have been finalised with Germany, Romania, and Saudi Arabia, according to the provincial government.
The Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (BTEVTA) has begun its efforts in this regard.
In the first phase, 6,000 applications have been received, and following a screening process, training would commence for the selected candidates.
MD Tariq Mengal stated that the chosen candidates would be sent to Saudi Arabia and Romania for jobs in the construction sector while those selected for Germany would find employment in the health and IT sectors.
This initiative is expected to reduce unemployment rates among the youth of Balochistan.
