Karachi weather forecast, air quality update
Karachi is set to experience clear skies and abundant sunshine over the next 24 hours, according to the Meteorological Department.
The weather will remain dry, with a cool morning recorded, and mostly sunny conditions are expected throughout the day.
The minimum temperature in the city has been noted at 19.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is projected to range from 31 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius.
Light winds are blowing from the northeast, and humidity levels are at 86%.
Air Quality Concerns
In terms of air quality, Karachi ranks sixth among the world’s most polluted cities today, with a particulate matter level of 186. The Air Quality Index indicates that levels between 100 and 200 are harmful to health, while those between 200 and 300 are considered extremely dangerous.

Weather Conditions Nationwide
On a broader scale, the Meteorological Department has reported that most regions of the country are expected to experience dry and cold weather.
Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan will face dry and chilly conditions, while smog and fog are likely to linger in Punjab and Sindh.
Additionally, cold and dry weather is anticipated in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
