The Lahore High Court has granted post-arrest bail to renowned journalist and analyst Orya Maqbool Jan.

Justice Ali Zia Bajwa heard the bail plea, with prominent lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq advocating on Jan’s behalf. Following the arguments, the court approved the bail application.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had previously filed a case against Jan, accusing him of spreading misinformation related to a national institution.
