Maryam and Nawaz return to Pakistan
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, along with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, have returned to Pakistan after completing an overseas trip.
Both arrived in Lahore via private jet. Sharif departed from Lahore on October 25th, visiting Dubai, London, the United States, and several European countries. Maryam left for Geneva on November 7, also traveling by private jet.
In Geneva, Maryam underwent a medical examination for a parathyroid issue. Following a short stay, she traveled to London. Her trip, initially planned for approximately a week, was later extended.
Before returning to Pakistan from London, Sharif addressed the media, stating that the November 24 call for protests is an attempt to destabilize the country and that those issuing the call will not succeed.
