CTD police seize 7kg heroin, 3kg ice in Karachi raid
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police raided an apartment in Defense’s Khayaban-e-Nishat, Karachi, resulting in the seizure of seven kilograms of heroin and three kilograms of ice.
The operation led to the arrest of three individuals identified as Javed, Nazim, and Ahmed Raza. Authorities revealed that these suspects were involved in supplying drugs to universities, colleges, and dance parties across the city.
According to a police spokesperson, the suspects are not only engaged in domestic drug distribution but are also linked to international drug trafficking activities. They reportedly utilized foreign SIM cards for their operations, complicating their smuggling efforts.
The police are currently working to identify and apprehend additional members of the suspects’ network, leveraging information obtained from their mobile phones.
