Fog disrupts flight operations across Pakistan: 11 flights canceled, 53 delayed

Severe fog has caused significant disruptions to flight operations throughout Pakistan, leading to the cancellation of 11 flights and delays for another 53.

Airport authorities reported that three flights were rerouted to alternate airports due to the poor visibility conditions.

Among the canceled flights were Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) routes, including PK340 and PK341 from Karachi to Faisalabad, as well as PK322 and PK323 between Lahore and Quetta.

Additionally, a Saudi Airlines flight (SV738) from Jeddah to Lahore was diverted to Islamabad.

Delays affected multiple routes, with six flights between Karachi and Islamabad, five from Karachi to Lahore, and 19 flights at Lahore Airport experiencing significant hold-ups.
