PMD finally predicts rain in several areas of Pakistan
The Pakistan Metrological Department has predicted rain and snow in different areas of Pakistan for next week.
On Friday and Saturday, cloudy weather with rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall in the mountains is likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. Rain and thunderstorms may occur in lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and upper Punjab.
Smog and fog are expected in the plains of Punjab and upper Sindh, while dry weather will prevail in other regions.

Most parts of the country are expected to remain mainly dry, with partly cloudy weather in the northern regions. On Sunday and Monday, smog and fog are likely in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.
