PMD forecasts dry weather, high temperatures for coming week
The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather in various regions of Pakistan over the next week, with temperatures remaining high in some areas.
The PMD stated that a westerly wave is expected to influence the western and upper parts of the country starting tomorrow evening.
On Monday, most regions will continue to see dry weather, but upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir may experience partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain and thunderstorms.
Dry weather will prevail in most areas, although cloudy conditions with rain and thunderstorms are likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. Isolated rain and thunderstorms may also occur in the Pothohar region on Tuesday.
Most parts of the country will remain dry, with colder temperatures in hilly areas. However, isolated areas such as Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan could see partly cloudy weather with rain and thunderstorms on October 3.
