Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has launched a revised winter gas supply plan aimed at ensuring consumers receive consistent, high-pressure gas during peak hours to meet seasonal demands.

Starting in November 2024, the updated schedule outlines specific time slots for gas availability, allowing consumers to better plan their cooking and heating activities, according to a local media report.

Under SNGPL’s new timetable, gas will be provided at full pressure during the following designated periods:

• Morning: 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM
• Afternoon: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
• Evening: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

SNGPL representatives noted that these changes were made in accordance with government directives, emphasizing the company’s commitment to improving service reliability across various regions.

They assured that customers in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other areas serviced by SNGPL would receive full-pressure gas during these specified times.

Demand for gas typically surges in winter as households rely on it for heating and hot water. This seasonal increase, combined with shorter daylight hours, often puts pressure on supply systems.

The new winter schedule from SNGPL is expected to alleviate these challenges and provide a stable gas supply to its over 7.22 million customers.
