The air quality in Punjab has reached alarming levels, with Lahore continuing to be ranked as one of the most polluted cities globally. This morning, the Air Quality Index (AQI) soared to a staggering 582, indicating hazardous conditions for residents.

Multan and Peshawar are also experiencing severe smog, prompting authorities to close various sections of the motorway due to low visibility.

Citizens are urged to take precautions to protect their health amid these hazardous air conditions.

Tragically, in Chunian, a tractor-trailer collided with a motorcycle in dense fog late last night, resulting in the deaths of two women.
