A gas cylinder explosion at a burger shop in Sector I-8 Markaz, Islamabad, has left two people, including a woman, seriously injured. The blast shattered the windows of nearby parked vehicles.

According to sources, the injured were transported to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital for treatment.

Concerns have been raised about the storage of large gas cylinders in shops near residential areas, specifically near Khanna Pul.

Residents in the vicinity have expressed considerable anxiety over the potential for further such incidents.
