Punjab Govt introduces free travel for disabled individuals on Orange line, Metro bus

The Punjab government has rolled out a new initiative allowing individuals with disabilities to travel for free on the Orange Line train and Metro Bus services.

A representative from the Metro Bus Authority announced that those holding the “Himmat Card” are eligible for complimentary travel on both services.

To avail of this benefit, passengers must present their Himmat Card at the ticket counter.

This free travel service will be offered daily, facilitating easier commutes for people with disabilities. The administration has confirmed that all Himmat Card holders can utilize this service at no cost.
