Two labourers killed while trying to install transformer in Karachi
In a heartbreaking incident in Karachi’s Razzaqabad area, two labourers lost their lives and one was critically injured while installing a pole-mounted transformer (PMT).
The accident occurred as the workers were digging a hole approximately 20 to 25 feet deep for the installation.
Rescue teams promptly transported the deceased and the injured to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
According to police reports, the labourers were engaged in PMT connection work when the landslide struck.
