At least three labourers were killed and three others were injured after armed men attacked a camp in Harnai district of Balochistan, reported Aaj News on Saturday.

The assailants flee the spot after setting fire to the camp and the vehicles parked nearby.

The security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

Last year, three coal miners were shot dead in the district when young people were protesting at the Quetta-Harnai National Highway for basic necessities, including electricity and water.

The demonstration was being held under “Harnai Bachao Tehreek”.
