NADRA updates fees for modifying marital status on CNIC
The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced an update regarding the fees for modifying marital status on the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
As of October 2024, Pakistani nationals looking to update their marital status will be charged a fee of Rs100 for this modification, which is categorized as an unprintable alteration.
Updating marital status is essential for citizens, particularly after marriage, as it allows them to access several benefits, including the ability to obtain a computerized marriage certificate and a B-Form for their children.
To apply for this modification, males must provide specific documents, including the marriage certificate (Nikhahnama) and a copy of their spouse’s CNIC.
