Met office makes snow forecast for UK in November
The Met Office has forecasted a possibility of snow for certain areas in the UK, potentially arriving as soon as next week.
This weekend, conditions are expected to include ice, mist, and heavy fog. However, the forecaster indicates that snow could appear at the beginning of November in northern and eastern regions of the UK.
In a long-range forecast covering October 30 to November 8, the Met Office stated: “As we enter November, there is a chance that the weather could briefly turn much colder and brighter, with potential snow showers in northern and eastern areas. However, it’s also possible that these conditions may miss the UK altogether or that milder weather could persist.”
Following this, a period of sunny weather is anticipated this weekend, with dry and bright conditions expected across northern England, Wales, the Midlands, and south-west England on Saturday, while cloudier conditions will prevail in other areas.

From Monday through to Thursday there will be cloudy conditions with some rain and drizzle possible “almost anywhere.” Moving on well into November, the Met Office said the more miserable conditions could well continue.
“Temperatures will probably be close to average for much of this period as a whole, although some colder interludes are possible.”
