Pakistani-American Saeed Sheikh honored with one world award for philanthropy
Saeed Sheikh, President of the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association, has been awarded the prestigious One World Award 2024 for his exceptional philanthropic work and leadership. Sheikh is the first Pakistani-American and South Asian to receive this honor.
The award was presented by Susan Young, President of the Sister City Associations, during the annual One World Concert at St. Thomas University in Houston.
The event attracted diplomats and notable figures, including Congressman Al Green, who congratulated Sheikh on his achievement.
Green also awarded him a Congressional Certificate of Recognition for his commendable services.
Sheikh has received multiple accolades for his contributions, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
