Teachers at Federal Urdu University have staged a protest outside the Vice Chancellor’s office to demand the immediate release of their salaries, which have been pending for the past three months.

The protesting educators expressed their frustration, stating that if their salaries were not disbursed promptly, they would not permit the Vice Chancellor to enter the office.

In response to the escalating situation, the Vice Chancellor’s office called in police and Rangers to maintain order.

The protest highlighted ongoing concerns regarding financial management at the university and the impact on faculty welfare.
