Govt to spend Rs350 million on artificial rain in Lahore
Authorities have decided to use artificial rain to combat the worsening smog situation in Lahore.
Preparations for artificial rain are underway in response to the rising air pollution levels.
Additionally, the possibility of school closures for children due to the worsening air quality is also under consideration.
Sources within the Ministry of Finance have indicated that the cost of artificial rain in Lahore will be approximately Rs350 million.
The Meteorological Department and the Environment Department are playing a key role in smog mitigation efforts and the artificial rain initiative.
