A bomb blast near a police mobile van occurred in the Urmar area on the outskirts of Peshawar.

According to police, the IED (improvised explosive device) detonated while police were on routine patrol.

No casualties were reported.

Following the explosion, a large contingent of police, along with a bomb disposal unit (BDU), arrived at the scene and launched a search operation.
