President Zardari call NA, Senate sessions on October 17

Reports suggest govt plans to introduce constitutional amendment

President Asif Ali Zardari has called separate sessions of the National Assembly and Senate to take place on October 17.

The National Assembly session is scheduled for October 17 on Thursday at 4:00 pm, while the Senate session will be held earlier that day at 3:00 pm, according to a press release from the President’s Secretariat Press Wing.

President Zardari summoned both parliamentary sessions in accordance with Article 54 (1) of the Constitution of Pakistan.
