Government vehicles were distributed among participants of the PTI protests in Peshawar, according to details available with Aaj News.

Dozens of vehicles were collected from the warehouse and the Excise Department and subsequently handed over to the Chief Minister’s House.

Such vehicles were then provided to PTI workers for the protests, including a list of 52 vehicles of various models, sources said.

Excise Secretary Fayyaz Ali Shah stated that the vehicles were “legally allocated” to the administration, which then transferred them to the Chief Minister’s House.

Different cavalcades of PTI marched towards Islamabad on Friday. One of them was led by KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

But Gandapur told the KP Assembly on Sunday that a maximum of three people were with him when he left for the rally. He turned up in the august house 30 hours after he went missing from the KP House.

Islamabad was sealed for the past three days when supporters of PTI marched towards the federal capital. Mobile and Metro Bus services were suspended.

In recent weeks, the PTI has organised numerous rallies nationwide to protest the “unlawful” detention of its founder, the delays by the Election Commission of Pakistan in executing the verdict on reserved seats, and to advocate for the “preservation” of the Constitution.

Prior to its rallies in Islamabad and Lahore earlier this month, the government imposed a series of stringent regulations. Imran Khan’s party did not fully adhere to these guidelines, leading to confrontations between its supporters and law enforcement agencies.
