Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Tariq has received references against MNAs Adil Khan Bazai and Ilyas Chauhdry.

The reference against Adeel Khan Bazai was filed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), while the reference against Ilyas Chauhdry was filed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q).

Both references allege violations of party directives during the budget session.

Bazai represents NA-262 (Quetta) and is a member of the PML-N, while Chauhdry represents NA-62 (Gujrat) and is a member of the PML-Q.
