Absence of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah leads to de-listing of cases in Supreme Court
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah did not attend the Supreme Court today, leading to the de-listing of cases that had been scheduled before the three-member bench he was set to lead.
It was reported that Justice Shah took leave due to the illness of a close relative.
As a result of his absence, the cases originally assigned to his bench, which included Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Aqeel Abbasi, were removed from the list.
Subsequently, the cases were transferred to a two-member bench consisting of Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Ayesha Malik.
The two-member bench was scheduled to hear cases in Courtroom number 6; however, they sat briefly and then left without proceeding further.
