TikToker Dania Shah’s husband Hakim Shahzad has criticised those spreading rumours and negativity online after a video of his wife with an “unfamiliar person” went viral on social media.

In a statement, he said that the person seen in the videos is “employed by Daniya as a camera operator and is a transgender person.”

Her “employee” was seen helping her wear gajray – a local bangle of flowers – in the video. Dania is seen wearing a green frock, adorned with jewellery and makeup while the person is dressed in black. The person is a TikToker with 7.8 followers. According to the social media account, his name is Shahzaib Veer.

Many social media users speculated about a potential divorce between Daniya and Hakim. While criticising such reactions, Shahzad stated that they were conforming to outdated norms.

He claimed that he had provided his wife with 20 acres of land, a car valued at Rs20 million, and gold.

Shahzad added that Dania has the right to do whatever she wishes and that he “grants her full permission.”

He expressed his “open-mindedness” regarding his wife, stating that she is living her life as per her wishes. He added that “Dania was, is, and will remain his wife and he fully supports her choices.”

Shahzad claimed that he does not object to his wife making videos and modelling.
