PMD predicts dry weather across Pakistan with scattered rains
Pakistan’s Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mostly dry weather across the country for the coming period, with localized showers expected in certain regions. Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to experience partly cloudy skies.
The PMD predicts that most areas of Punjab will experience dry weather, with warmer conditions in the southern regions. However, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain in Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and surrounding areas.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the PMD anticipates strong winds and thunderstorms, with a chance of rain in several areas including Dir, Chitral, Kurram, Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan.
Sindh and Balochistan are expected to experience mostly hot and humid weather.
Kashmir is predicted to see rain in some areas, accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms. Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to have partly cloudy skies.
The PMD advises residents to stay updated on weather forecasts for any changes.
