Punjab govt to imposes section 144 for Public Service Commission exams
The Punjab government to impose Section 144 across the province in seven cities to ensure the smooth conduct of the Public Service Commission examinations.
The decision follows a directive from the provincial government, and the Home Department, Punjab, issued a notification to this effect.
Section 144 will be enforced on Saturday, September 28, and Sunday, September 29, in the following cities: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan. The restrictions will be in place around examination centers from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
According to the notification, only candidates and supervisory staff will be permitted to enter the examination centers.

Additionally, the movement of unrelated individuals will be strictly prohibited within 100 yards of these centers throughout the affected cities.
The Punjab Public Service Commission has set up a total of 25 examination centers across these locations to facilitate various exams.
