Met predicts rainfall in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced that a new spell of monsoon rainfall is expected in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and eastern Sindh from September 26 to October 2.
Moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal are anticipated to enter the upper regions of the country starting September 25.
A westerly weather system is set to approach on September 26, bringing rainfall to areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Peshawar, Swabi, and Mansehra, among others, from September 26 to October 1.
Cities in Punjab, such as Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Sialkot, will likely experience rain from September 26 to October 1, with further rainfall expected in several districts from September 27 to October 1.

While most areas of Sindh will remain hot and dry, isolated rain and thunderstorms are expected in Mirpurkhas, Tharparker, and Umerkot from September 26 to 28.
