Colombian singer Shakira was left furious during a concert when she discovered fans attempting to film inappropriate videos of her.

The 45-year-old “Hips don’t Lie” songstress is one of the biggest names in the global music industry and has sold more than 60 million albums.

The singer was performing in a mini skirt on stage in Miami when she noticed people in the crowd trying to capture compromising footage from below.

In a sudden move, Shakira halted her performance, held her skirt with both hands and gestured to the audience, signalling that she was aware of their actions.

Following this incident, she walked off the stage.
