One person has died from the Nipah virus in Kerala, India, marking the second death linked to the virus this year. Health officials confirmed that the deceased was a 39-year-old man from the Kozhikode district.

This incident follows the earlier death of a 53-year-old man from the same district, which raised concerns about the spread of the virus.
