Balochistan Minister Sarfaraz Domki passes away
Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Domki, the Minister for Local Government of Balochistan, passed away on Monday after a prolonged illness. Family sources confirmed that Mr. Domki had been battling lung and kidney issues and was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Karachi.
According to family sources, Mr. Domki’s body will be transported from Karachi to Lehri today, where he will be laid to rest at the family graveyard.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the passing of Mr. Domki, describing him as a sharp and respected politician and tribal leader.
He highlighted Mr. Domki’s positive contributions to Balochistan’s political and tribal system, emphasizing his role as an active member of the current Balochistan cabinet.
The CM further stated that the loss of Mr. Domki was a profound shock and that he stood with the grieving family during this difficult time.
Domki was elected as a member of the provincial assembly from PB-8 Sibi on a Pakistan Peoples Party ticket in the February 2024 elections. He held the portfolios of Local Government and Rural Development.
