FIA cyber crime unit springs into action over explicit viral videos of minor

The FIA Cyber Crime Circle has apprehended two individuals linked to the dissemination of explicit videos involving a minor girl on social media, recovering objectionable material from their mobile phones.

According to a spokesperson from the FIA, the suspects utilized fake Instagram accounts to distribute the inappropriate content and were also involved in sexually harassing and blackmailing the victim.

The suspects, identified as Latif Ali and Junaid Sarfaraz, were arrested in Tehsil Yasin, District Ghizer.

They had established fake social media accounts under the victim’s name and threatened her with the release of compromising images.

The spokesperson added that the suspects had shared the objectionable material with accomplices via WhatsApp, and relevant content was retrieved from their devices.
