Vice chancellor attacked in Dera Ismail Khan
The Vice-Chancellor of Gomal University, Professor Dr Shakibullah, was attacked in Dera Ismail Khan on Monday.
However, the Vice-Chancellor and his staff are safe.
Dr Shakibullah’s car came under fire while leaving the Agriculture University in DI Khan. While he was not harmed, his car was severely damaged in the incident.
The attack on the Vice-Chancellor has prompted concern from the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi. He has ordered a report on the incident.

Governor Kundi expressed his deep regret over the attacks on the Vice-Chancellors of Gomal University and the Agricultural University. He expressed gratitude that the Vice-Chancellor and his companions remained unharmed in the attack.
