Unknown men flee after abandoning suicide jacket in Peshawar

Unidentified motorcycle riders abandoned a suicide jacket and fled in the Jameel Chowk area of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Authorities thwarted a plan to cause destruction in Peshawar, where a suicide jacket was recovered from the motorcycle riders near the Ring Road at Jameel Chowk.

According to police, when the suspects were signaled to stop in the Phandu police precinct, they threw the suicide jacket and escaped.

The police, with the assistance of the bomb disposal unit, neutralized the jacket, which contained 6 to 7 kilograms of explosive material.
