Karsaz accident driver, Natasha Danish, gets bail after after victims reach settlement
A settlement has been reached between the parties involved in the tragic car crash case that took place on Karsaz road in Karachi, paving the way for the potential release of the accused, Natasha Danish.
The families of the deceased, Imran Arif and Amina Arif, have prepared an affidavit stating that they have forgiven the accused. A copy of the affidavit has been obtained by Aaj News which reads, “We have reached a settlement and have forgiven the accused. We forgive her in the name of Allah, who is the Most Merciful and Compassionate.”
Follwoing the the affidavit’s submission, Natasha was granted bail by a local court in Karachi. The bail wa confirmed after surety bonds worth Rs100,000 were submitted.
The affidavit further states that the families have no objection to the accused’s bail application. It clarifies that the accident was not intentional and that the “no objection certificate” was provided without any pressure. The families have affirmed that the statements made in the affidavit are accurate.
It is expected that the no objection certificate will be submitted to the court today. The certificate will be presented on behalf of Imran Arif’s family.
On August 19, a speeding vehicle driven by Natasha Danish lost control on Karachi’s Karsaz Road, crashing into pedestrians. The incident resulted in the deaths of a father and daughter and injuries to four others. The woman driving the vehicle was arrested by the police.

Imran Arif and his daughter Amina were killed while riding a motorcycle, while four other citizens sustained serious injuries. Eyewitnesses reported that the woman driving the jeep appeared to be out of control.
After hitting the motorcycles, the woman attempted to flee the scene, crashing into another vehicle in the process. The car was severely damaged, but the driver was miraculously unharmed. The SUV also overturned following the collision.
On August 21, the Karachi City Court remanded Natasha, the driver of the jeep, to judicial custody in connection with the Karsaz traffic accident case.
A special investigation team was formed on August 23rd to probe the incident where a father and daughter were killed after being run over by an SUV driven by Natasha Danish.
New footage of the Karsaz Service Road accident emerged, revealing that the woman had previously hit a white Corolla car and a motorcycle on the same road before attempting to flee the scene, ultimately running over the father and daughter on another motorcycle.
