Peshawar bans kite, pigeon flying near PAF Base for six months

Ban has been imposed to ensure ‘safe takeoff and landing of planes’

The Peshawar administration has banned kite and pigeon flying and the use of laser beam light within the vicinity of PAF Base and PAF Camp Badabir for six months.

In a notification, Additional Home Chief Secretary and Tribal Affairs Department Abid Majeed imposed a ban on aerial firing under Section 144 of the CrPC.

The ban has also been imposed on flying Quadcopter, pigeon flying and selling in the same area. It was said that the ban has been imposed forthwith to ensure the safe takeoff and landing of planes.

Violators would be prosecuted under 188 CrPC, according to a notification issued on Friday.
