Former PTI MNA arrested in Saudi Arabia
Former member of the National Assembly Faheem Khan, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been arrested in Saudi Arabia.
A statement released by the PTI stated that Khan was taken into custody while performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia.
The PTI alleges that Khan was arrested for making a video at the Kaaba related to the events of May 9, when violent protests erupted across Pakistan following the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The PTI Karachi chapter has accused the Pakistani government of orchestrating Khan’s arrest.
