The 10-acre N Convention Center, owned by renowned South Indian film industry superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, has been demolished by a bulldozer on the orders of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HYDRAA).

According to the reports, the demolition was carried out due to alleged encroachments by the actor on a part of the Thammidi Kunta Lake to construct the Convention Center. The local authorities had been investigating the issue for several years before taking action.

The complaint filed against Nagarjuna alleged that he had illegally occupied around 1.12 acres of the Thammidi Kunta Lake and an additional 2 acres of buffer zone land to build the sprawling Convention Center. The government records show that the lake covers an area of approximately 29.24 acres.

The complainant, Bhaskar Reddy, had demanded that the HYDRAA authorities take action against the actor and restore the lake. Following the investigation, the municipal corporation ordered the demolition of the Convention Center, which is currently underway with heavy police presence in the area.
